Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Bargaon.in collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to reply to you and to understand how people find us. We do not sell personal information.

01

Who we are

Bargaon.in (referred to as we, us or our) is a growth marketing and systems practice based in Someshwar, Almora, Uttarakhand, India. For any question about this policy or your information, email contact@bargaon.in.

02

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, website, the service you are interested in, any message you write and whether you ticked the consent box. If you email us or book a call, we receive the details you include.

Information sent with a form. To understand which channels bring enquiries, our forms also send the page you submitted from, the first page you landed on, the referring website, campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters) and ad click identifiers such as gclid or fbclid, together with the time of submission.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP address, browser type, pages requested and time. Our form uses your IP address for about one hour to limit repeated submissions and block spam.

Analytics and advertising information. We use Google Analytics to measure visits; you can turn it off at any time. Advertising tags are used only if you allow them in the cookie banner. See the cookies section below.

03

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and send an automatic confirmation email.
  • To review your website and prepare the free audit, a proposal or other information you asked for.
  • To manage our relationship with you if you become a client.
  • To understand which pages, channels and campaigns bring useful enquiries, so we can improve our website and marketing.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse.
  • To meet legal, tax or accounting obligations.

We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you ask us to, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

04

Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary. Our website stores your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every page. It also stores, in your own browser, the campaign details of your visit (for up to 90 days) so they can be attached to a form if you choose to submit one. This information is not sent to us unless you submit a form.

Analytics (on by default outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland). Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits, pages viewed and how people use the site. You can turn it off with “Reject non-essential” in the banner or in Cookie preferences. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first.

Marketing (off by default). Advertising tags from platforms such as Google Ads and Meta set cookies only if you choose “Accept all” or turn marketing on.

We use Google Consent Mode, so tags follow your choice. You can change it at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser storage.

05

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and reply to you, and only as much as they need:

  • Website hosting (Hostinger), which stores the website and form submissions.
  • Email delivery, used to send form notifications and confirmation emails.
  • CRM (Zoho CRM), where we keep enquiries and follow-ups.
  • Automation (Make.com), which moves new enquiries from the website into our CRM.
  • Analytics and advertising (Google and Meta), only if you allow these cookies.

We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. We do not sell or rent personal information.

06

International transfers

Some of these providers store or process data outside India. When this happens, we rely on the provider’s own security and data protection commitments.

07

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as the relationship lasts and as required for legal and accounting purposes. Spam-prevention data is kept for about one hour. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics tool. You can ask us to delete your information earlier.

08

How we protect information

We use reputable providers, secure connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our accounts and spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

09

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
  • stop contacting you, or withdraw any consent you gave.

To make a request or raise a concern, email contact@bargaon.in. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India once it is available to you, or the relevant authority in your country.

10

Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
