When someone finds your page in Google or shares it in a chat, the first thing they see is a title, a short description and usually an image. Those come from a few tags in the page’s HTML: the title tag, the meta description and the Open Graph tags (og:title, og:description, og:image). If they are missing, too long or pointing at the wrong image, the page looks broken before anyone clicks.
This checker reads the live page once through our server, lists every tag it finds and flags what to fix: missing or duplicate tags, titles that are likely to be cut off, a noindex setting, a canonical pointing elsewhere, and share images that are too small, the wrong shape or too heavy. The image checks follow Meta’s published guidance for link shares (at least 1200×630 pixels for sharp display, 600×315 for a large preview, 8 MB maximum) and X’s card rules.
The previews are close approximations, not screenshots. Google often rewrites titles and snippets, and each platform changes its layout from time to time. Use the edit boxes to try a shorter title or a clearer description and watch the previews update before you change anything on your site.
